WHAT DO I WEAR TO THE APPOINTMENT?

We recommend you bring loose clothing for your session (e.g. shorts and a tee shirt and, for women, a bra that can be opened at the back is recommended). If you forget don’t worry as we have shorts and gowns for you to wear during the session.

DO YOU HAVE HICAPS?

Yes – please have your health fund card with you as we are able to claim it on your behalf.

WHICH HEALTH FUNDS DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept most health funds.

MY GP HAS GIVEN ME AN EPC REFERRAL?

The Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) program is a Medicare rebated scheme. Your doctor has determined you have a chronic or complex condition and therefore are eligible for this scheme. If you qualify, your GP will give you a referral which allows you to be rebated $ $53.80.

This rebate is for a maximum of 5 sessions per calendar year. We can process this rebate at our rooms. Please note that some of our practitioners will charge a gap fee (ask for more information when you book your session).

I HAVE SOME SCANS – SHOULD I BRING THEM IN?

Yes please. If you cannot bring all your scans in, please bring in your report.

HOW OFTEN WILL I NEED TO COME IN?

Once your physiotherapist has assessed you, they will be able to give you an indication of how many sessions may be required.

DO YOU OFFER BABY SITTING SERVICES?

We are family friendly and our receptionist is available most weekdays from 9-5 to assist (advanced notice is recommended to ensure baby sitting availability).

HOW SOON AFTER SURGERY CAN I START PHYSIO TREATMENT?

The operating surgeon will give you guidelines for commencement of post-operative physiotherapy sessions.

HOW SOON AFTER THE BIRTH OF MY BABY CAN I START EXERCISING?

Commencement of exercises depends on the type of delivery that you experienced (vaginal or caesarean birth).

We recommend you book a session 6 weeks post-partum to let a physiotherapist check your abdominal muscle separation, check how you re-engage your core, discuss your pelvic floor muscle recovery and check for any muscular tension patterns resulting from birth and/or breastfeeding.

DO YOU HAVE A CANCELLATION POLICY?

Yes – we have 24 hour notice policy. If you do not give us 24 hours notice, we may charge you the full cost of your appointment.

DO YOU HAVE PARKING?
